The FDI is now taking applications for the 2010 General Assembly Travel Grant. Note that applications must be received no later than Monday, 17 May 2010 to be considered. Applications may be submitted by email to Mrs Sylvie Dutilloy (sdutillo[at]fdiworldental[dot]org), fax or post to the FDI Head Office. The FDI’s Communications & Member Support Committee will consider all applications received. Successful candidates will be notified by Thursday, 17 June 2010.

The FDI and the 2010 Local Organising Committee invites you to the Annual World Dental Congress 2010 which will be held in Salvador, Bahia State Brazil on September 2 to 5.

The Scientific Programme for 2010 was structured to thoroughly consider major themes for the profession, always aiming for a connection with the mission of social responsibility of FDI to promote oral health to the people around the globe. The topics are intended to induce discussion on public policies and private practices, new trends, overviews of research, teaching and clinical practice and also a debate in integrating odontology and other professions to reach general and oral health.
